I'd brought Glade up at one point, and Dave Peticolas wasn't sure how
it could be useful, considering that the major GUI object, the
register, isn't something that Glade is up to coping with.
*This* is the place where it it could actually be useful to have Glade
integration so as to be able to do visual GUI arrangement work.
On The Other Hand, it might be sufficient to have some custom tying of
GTK widgets to Guile for some useful set of "helper" interactions,
effectively providing a Little Language for writing helpers.
