Umm. If I understand what you're talking about. That field should
*always* be used, and if you have strict force-double-entry accounting
turned on in the engine, GnuCash will enforce that.
Unless I'm misunderstanding you, that field is what tells where the
money is coming from/going to. For example, when you buy dinner, it
would generally be an expense "account" like "Food".
