I've started to put some time into creating a FreeBSD port.

I've submitted a patch to the maintainer of the slib port
to update it to the current version. (I think that's the only
port dependency that is not reasonably up-to-date.) Hopefully,
that will make it into the ports tree soon. If anyone would
like a copy of the patch, I can email it.

I've also mostly completed putting together the gnucash port
for 1.3.2, just need to assemble the packing list tonight.
If anyone running FreeBSD would like to test it, send me email
and I can send you a copy of the port when I finish it.

The port, so far, only patches work-arounds to the configure
problems for FreeBSD which seem to work fine, but aren't the
right solutions to the problems. I'm still working on real
solutions.

If there's anyone who knows their way around the configure
stuff and is willing to give me a hand, it would be appreciated.
I'm learning how to work with the configure files, but don't
really know what I am doing, yet.

Thanks,
Matt Condell
