[X server memory leak problem]

The system is Mandrake 7.0 running on a Sony Vaio laptop. It uses the
basic SVGA X server; XFree86 is version 3.3.6. Gnome-libs is 1.0.54.
Running across the net (i.e. same gnucash binary) to my Red Hat 6.0 desktop
produces the same result - a growth of almost 1MB for each transaction
entered. I've not yet gotten new enough GNOME libraries on the RH system
to try running gnucash there.
If there's anything else that would be helpful to know, do tell and I'll go
digging for it.
