As much as I agree entirely that MySQL is not free in a useful sense,
this last statement is not generally true: from their web site, they allow

So you need to replace "CD" by "DVD Disk" or "tape" for your statement
to be fully true.

Another point is that MySQL is not even gratis for Windows, nor can it
ever be gratis for Windows.

I agree with another poster that _some_ form of export is necessary.

I also have no problems with adding MySQL support in addition to
PostgreSQL support or some other support.
