http://www.quickbooks.com/ and search for chart of accounts there on
the front page. Looks like quickbooks can print theirs out. I did a
search at peachtree.com, but it seemed to be much less helpful. It
seems that there is an "interview assistant" with some of these apps,
for help setting up a new company.
I realize that we don't want to mimic these other (legacy,
proprietary) accounting applications with all of their faults. But we
might want to look them over for ease of use from the "out-of-the-box"
point of view, going forward.
