It looks like you are missing the -devel versions of the
debian packages for gtk+ and gnome-libs. There should be
a GnuCash debian package for the 1.4 series coming soon,
btw. It may already be out, but I'm not too familiar with
how to find out that info for Debian. Others on the list
will know more.
