Hi,

I noticed that bug #575895 [1] talks about an incomplete guide for customising
a report, in the Transactions chapter. Now we have a plan in bug #633590 [2] to
just create a new chapter to handle reports. I believe this has been the
intention all along of the docs team, from the note in §4.7.5. So with this, we
would simply remove the reporting sections in various chapters and probably
refer the reader to the reporting chapter for details of different reporting
scenarios.

Does anyone have any input? Maybe there are other places where reporting is
mentioned. Would appreciate if anyone could comment on #633590 with examples,
if any.

Aside from that, what would be the correct way to handle #575895? I’m thinking
as it will be made redundant by fixing #633590, to mark it as dependent on the
latter, and then to just mark it as resolved? Or is there a more correct way?

Thanks,

Yawar
