It relates to the new Save as... and Open... dialogs not being documented yet.
The user can now choose 4 different 'file formats' to save GnuCash data in:
xml, sqlite3, mysql and postgres.
A month or so back, there was a thread about libdbi0 v0.8.3 causing sqlite3 to read all zeroes, with a possible runtime check being implemented (bug 611936). This should at least be noted in the documentation (maybe in the release notes?).


I agree with David that this should at least be mentioned in the
documentation. Open and Save are very visible GUI elements, so having four
options (with different parameters depending on the option) will confuse new
users. Cristian has already provided some patches, so the documentation will
likely be ready by this weekend.
