So, we have 2944 strings total and 2755 when filtering for country_specific_pattern. I was hoping that Russian, French and Spanish would suddenly shoot up in % done.. but they haven't.
I'm a bit surprised how quickly the percent numbers drop from 100% to something lower. Because in absolute numbers, every translation with more than 1000 strings has been a massive amount of work. But when viewed in current percentage, it's not even 50% yet...
I would suggest we should draw the line for "supported language" at approx. 70%, as marked below (maybe we should simply drop the word "fully"). As it turns out, this is also the distinction between translations that have been updated this year i.e. for the 1.8.x branch, compared to those that have had their last update last year i.e. in the 1.6.x branch. So these translations can certainly be called "fairly recent".
In absolute numbers, having 2000 translated msgids is a gigantic achievement for *any* translator or translation team. We should really give credits to them and often enough express gratitude to all hard-working translators out there. Thanks a lot!
