That might have been my thread about broken threads. And I think we figured out it was a particular mail agent causing the problem. I don’t recall if we discussed duplication issues, but I don’t think so.
If “D’s” messages are indeed also being duplicated, then that mail agent may again be the issue. Perhaps the outgoing mail server thinks the messages aren’t being acknowledged by the mailman server so it keeps resending. Or the user has a stuck Outbox and the client software itself is doing this. I think a mobile device is involved, so if connectivity/sync is having a problem on an IMAP box, that could be a trigger. Other than those three cases, I’m out of guesses.
