Any special character I can throw at it to get it to paste across
fields? I can insert anything I want into the string

Up in the menu icons you will find an option to cut a transaction, then
an option to paste the transaction into another account.

It doesn't always work smoothly for me
If you are copying from a spreadsheet you may need to use the csv
importer to make it work. I am ignorant about its workings.

Hi Liz,

Apparently, the copy transaction copies into a GnuCash
buffer and is not the system clipboard. Rats!
