Sounds *exactly* like what I was experiencing several weeks ago, and which was discussed in another thread. I was also using version 4.2.
Apparently this issue was fixed in a nightly build to 4.2, I downloaded it, and no longer have the issue at all. Think I downloaded and installed the one on October 25th fwiw.
