Jay, UPGRADING to ubuntu 22.04 caused issues not only with Gnucash but also my NVidia video card. If you do a google search (site: lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user ubuntu 22.04) in gnucash-user you'll find a couple of threads re the issue. I think from memory I just blew away my upgraded ubuntu and re-installed from scratch as I didn't have much on it I needed to keep anyway.
