Thank you Stan and Michael,
I understand the challenge of answering my questions for this particular
type of project and also that of a mailing list.
We are in Bolivia and, as far as I know so far, non-profits, clubs or
community organizations are not represented in the legislation. In this
respect, it is necessary to clarify in parallel or even as a first step,
in which legal form the project can be represented to the state. Since
the resulting accounting requirements obviously have to be included in
the design of the accounting system.
I know of at least two similar projects here in Bolivia that may be able
to help me along the way.
And yet, apart from that, it would already help me a lot if there was an
idea how I could promptly and internally (i.e. without all tax aspects
and legal requirements) map the (partial) payments of members and their
shares in the overall project, because the other tasks will take up
quite a bit of time, I fear.
Best regards,
Sebastian

My suggestion, for what it's worth: Since you do understand that your
first step is to decide what accounts you need, why not find some other
community projects and ask their treasurers to share advice, and perhaps
even their chart of accounts. Unlike all or most of us, they'll
definitely be familiar with accounting for community projects.

THAT is another possibility (if there are other such entities you
could contact)
I've set up/kept books for non-profits and know how most report BUT
NOT THE TYPE YOU ARE DESCRIBING. Notice that you may be needing to
report to a state as well as a national government so if contacting
other community project entities for help, best if that were ones in
your own state.
