The bug response was to click ENTER after entering the transaction. This solved the problem. I didn't used to have to do that, but it's not a big deal. I added that last step to my checklist for creating new scheduled transactions.

The third step where you create debits and credits needs to be entered before you can create the scheduled transaction. I have gotten this message before when the third step is not completed correctly or at all. Since you have created these before, there must be an error as I don't think you skipped this step. I have entered a bunch of these in the past and they work fine. When I try to add one now, I get this error: scheduled transactions without a template transaction cannot be automatically created But, the template is there and it looks like any other template I have done in the past.
