Hi Ken, I did try looking thru a bunch of those archive messages (although admittedly no more than a few dozen). But none of those postings seem to address the same thing that I've run into. Most are regarding problems that users found with the accounts or entries in the resulting .gnucash file that gets created. Or in some cases, users reported getting an error during the Import process, and the Import having failed because of that error. That's not the problem I'm having.
My problem is that I get NO error at all from the Import process. It just stops and closes after several hours with NO indication at all as to why. I don't know how to troubleshoot a problem where there's no error being reported, and the Import software is just silently closing for no apparent reason. If there's any folks out there that have run into the same thing as that, I'm not seeing any reports of it in the archives. That's why I'm asking about it here. How do I track down a problem when the GnuCash software isn't giving me any error?
