If you deselect the "Show auto-save confirmation question" you won't have to deal with " << it SHOULD wait to pop up only after the entry of a transaction is complete, not in the middle* >>. The question won't pop upat all, but it will save.

I dislike the "auto save" feature << it SHOULD wait to pop up only after the entry of a transaction is complete, not in the middle* >> But that means taking upon oneself responsibility of doing hard saves frequently enough that that the amount of work lost not too painful. Best to not enter hours of work between explicit hard saves of the data. Michael D Novack (*) Instead of "if time expired" between anything, every time entry of a transaction completed, check if time expired. That way will not be in the middle of entry of a transaction. _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list [email protected] To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
