This is an odd one and I have been unable to consistently reproduce the problem. This has been happening sporadically for a few months now so earlier versions of the software also produced the issue. Current Setting: Linux Mint 21.3 with Mate Chrome: Version 137.0.7151.68 (Official Build) (64-bit) Gnucash Build ID: Flathub 5.11-2 Gnucash Start Command Line: WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 flatpak run org.gnucash.GnuCash&
What happens: Typically I have 3 Chrome windows open with many tabs. Gnucash is running and I am entering a new transaction. Chrome crashes with a core dump. (Nothing else is affected.) The basic OS log files show nothing helpful. Yesterday I had two crashes in a short amount of time. After the first crash I restarted Chrome and when I returned to gnucash and made a new transaction, Chrome crashed again. Today I entered a transaction and there was no crash. Prior to yesterday there was a crash on June 1. I have not noticed any other problem, e.g., Firefox and Libreoffice never crash. Chrome gets updates every few weeks so it is a moving target. Any ideas? Anyone else seeing something similar?
