Good afternoon from India, I have been wanting to adopt a new accounting based app or software that will help me list, analyse and give me reports that I can then use to understand mine and my family’s financial standing. Also hold equity and mutual funds. I use Macintosh so have wanted replacement for Tally. Gnu Cash has been in my trial list for more than 2 yrs now, and I have just not been able to start off with it, while I searched for many other apps that are very complicated.
I am starting off with the help guide today with an intention to eventually understand and use the app, transfer the excel data that I have been making for years now. I understand accounts but may not fully understand how everything will check out. Lets see where we can go from here. Just felt like writing to the email address mentioned in the guide book. Thank you for making the app, and if I end up using it, will surely contribute towards it.
