To which I would add
SAVE the report as a custom report, with a name which is meaningful to
you.
That relieves the pain of trying to recreate reports.

OR --- if you only run a few reports, you can leave them open (tabs).
Then MOST of the parameters will be what you want, needing just to
change what is always different (the report date or date range).
But if you normally run more than just a few reports, do the save as Liz
suggested.
