Hi John,

This crash appears to be yet another side effect of https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash/commit/4c09a0feee698855f095f9729a4856033cbd0522. The intent of the changes introduced to gnc-tree-view.account.c appear to me to be superfluous so I am tempted to propose reverting the file. Otherwise, I think the g_object_run_dispose() call within gnc_tree_view_account_destroy() should be removed because the subsequent gtk_tree_view_set_model() call attempts to remove the model set in the view.

Let me know which approach you'd prefer and I'll provide a PR.

Regards,

Sherlock

I'm trying to do a reconciliation, but Gnucash keeps closing.  When I go to the account and select reconcile, it opens the window, then offers to do the interest, but it is already entered.  I click on cancel and it goes back to the reconcile info.  When I try to correct the ending balance it shuts down.  I tried rebooting. But that does not help.

I'm on Windows 11 24h2 and Gnucash 5.13.

I have a lot of month end work, so I'm going to go back to 5.12 for now.

Thank You,
