No, the release bundles won’t be any different from when they were released. Last night’s nightly build has a change Sherlock made last week that might fix your crash. You can get it from https://code.gnucash.org/builds/win32/stable.
Tomorrow’s nightly has the reversion that Sherlock referred to and that will be in tomorrow’s nightly build. Unless we were chasing entirely the wrong problem that will resolve the crash.
