I apologize for completely missing the Win11..  You kept saying iCloud
which, to me, reads "Mac".  So you're right, GnuCash on Windows WILL
properly open the file you click on.

Having said that, it sounds like there is a problem with your GnuCash
iCloud Drive folder.  You might want to rebuild that.
