Ahhh, got it. That definitely removes my confusion ... appreciate the clarification.

Kalpesh, "YH Finance" IS how the "financeapi" method is defined in gnc-commodity.cpp ( actually as "YH Finance (FinanceAPI)" ) and described in the Wiki (https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Online_Quotes#Finance::Quote_Sources_-_Individual_Sources). It is the source for retrieving quotes from financeapi.net. Actually the FinanceAPI API URLs are under https://yfapi.net/, which is probably why the person who initially added it to the source code and Wiki didn't use "FinanceAPI" as the GnuCash name. Maybe to reduce confusion and ambiguity I will change gnc-commodity.cpp and the Wiki and change the GnuCash name to "FinanceAPI (YH Finance)". Possibly drop the reference to YH Finance altogether. _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list [email protected] To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
