One idea would be to have the ability to set preferences, like View, Columns, maybe even Filters, and then 'apply to all child accounts'.

That way you could set what you want on the top-level account, and it would cascade.

The Thunderbird/Betterbird e-mail client can do this with its folders per account. So it is definitely doable, just not sure how simple or difficult.

This is not to say I wouldn't want to have this; just that with complexity, the
