Hello All

I had the same issue I ended up removing the program using the windows
uninstall program the first time I tried the new install I overwrote the
existing C:\Program Files (x86)\gnucash I got the same error. The next time
I depleted the (x86)\gnucash separately. Completed the install without
issue.

All the Best

Subject: Re: [GNC] Gnucash 5.14 installs, crashes "The procedure entry point

Subject corrected.

I had encountered the same error message as the OP on the Windows 10 desktop
I was using as an alternate computer. I must not have checked the validity
of one of the 5.13 nightly installations, for I encountered the error before
installing 5.14. Same error with the 5.14 installation.

Then, I uninstalled Gnucash using the Windows procedure, then deleted the
now empty program directories. Was the Windows uninstall a necessary step? I
have no idea if a Gnucash installation makes registry entries that can be
reversed only with a Windows uninstall.

After the clean install of 5.14, it worked as expected.
