Others have talked about this exact issue. It's a false positive.
Workaround is to turn Norton off before/while you download. GNUcash
does not have a virus. The anti-virus softwares just do not like
uncertified software - which -- costs an arm and a leg to get (a
certificate). AVAST users are experiencing a similar issue. I use
Malwarebytes and have placed it on the whitelist (allow). Have no
issues.

Norton antivirus is blocking and removing the installation executable with message
"We removed gnucash-5.14.setup.exe from your Quarantine because it was infected
by FileRepMalware {Misc.]. Is anyone else experiencing a problem with this file?
