The only other concern can be items like stored reports and user
preferences which are not stored in the data file itself See 
https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Configuration_Locations
for details of where the data is locatewd on each OS. There are
diagrams accessible from a link in the menu at the top of the page
which make finding them easier than decoding theenvironment variables
description on the main page.

You need to copy these as well as the data fileif you want the same
user preferences and saved reports available on both systems.
