Hi Larry,
It would help to have a bit more detail about that flex card. For
instance, you get this $600 flex card at the beginning of the year. And
then each month $50 is deducted from your salary to pay for the card.
So let's say you're lucky and have absolutely no medical expenses for
the entire year. What happens to that $600 flex card at year's end if
you had no need to use it? Do you get to keep the card and use it the
following year? Or does the card simply expire at the end of the year
(and you're out the $600 you paid for it)?
I'm a bit torn between whether that $50 per month is buying some sort of
medical insurance coverage, or if it's just a way of pre-paying your
medical expenses. A little more detail might help with understanding this.

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can give me some guidance on how to set up a medical
flex card that has a $600 limit, but has $50.00 deducted each month from
salary.
The flex card full amount can be used at any time the deductions will just
keep going. If it is exceeded you have to pay out of pocket.
I am trying to figure out accounts to set up and how to set a cap per se
that cannot be exceeded because once exceeded you can no longer use it.
Thank you all for any help.
Regards,
Larry
