I run gnucash 2.6.1 over mysql. I have several financial databases. When I use "save as" to create backups of two of the (smaller) db's, it seems to work fine, but when I do it using the largest and most complex db, the underlying mysql db folder gets created but neither mysql workbench or gnucash shows any data in the empty schema. Thoughts. (Please don't tell me to upgrade if "save as" should work on 2.6.1). A work around would be any reasonable way to copy the database with a new name. I've tried literally copying the mysql db folder, but apparently mysql stores the db name somewhere in the schema so mysql doesn't recognize the copied instance as a mysql db. Yes, I do back up every night, but I'm hoping to use an online copy of the db as a sandbox that I can run simultaneously alongside the live db.
