IOW, *untargetted* messages need to be handled inside GnuMed.
Others can be handled with stock email.

That said, a "doctor inbox" inside a GnuMed client can
certainly display an amalgamation of that doctor's clinical
email folder PLUS the messages in the currently active
patient's GnuMed-internal inbox.

Could / should the framework for *untargetted* messages be extended to include task management for example sending to "reception" or "referrals" or "nurse" or "billing" (supposing those are different roles in the office) instructions on something that needs to be done?

Examples:

- in a soaP note you put Ultrasound of abdomen
- in a requests detail area you might put the clinical information, and you might even here ask on your request for the test to be done in a certain time frame like within 2 days or one week
- however you would not in your request to the ultrasound lab write "patient prefers <location 1> but will go anywhere if no openings"
