Since the DMG is but a snapshot of the local installation (which then seems to be chrooted on the target Mac during execution) the library path that is packaged will be hardcoded to be the homedir of said curtis. The user which actually *runs* GNUmed on the target machine is the local user (djb). The exception handler then copies the log file from inside the DMG to the local users homedir, hence the djb/ in the last line. It's pretty much a technical artefact or implementation detail if you wish.
