The grid itself with its functionality does not care which subset of the available measurements is passed to it for display so the code can be reused how one sees fit. Initially in 0.2.9, GNUmed will have just one big table allowing the provider to access all results in one place. Later on that table will gain sorters and filters (one of the earliest of those will be by "test battery" or "order panel" - which you did some work on earlier). Yet the structure of the code allows the grid to be reused anywhere else, say, in the patient overview widget displaying a few select values according to certain rules (say, most recent INR and thrombocytes and abnormal values within the last week). And its all the same code just displaying a different set of values. Any other things you are thinking off ?
