Sure enough. They could (even automatically) contribute GPS traces with start and endpoints based on clinic address and anonymized patient address. Thereby they'd be mapping addresses and streets in no time. Just equip the cars with logging GPS devices. By adding in a commercial GPS based navigator they could venture to verge from the immediately direct path on the way back to map one or the other odd back alley.
