> The identifier of the name Err, I meant a name _is_ an identifier (for a cell or cell range)???
To ask more clearly again: I want to assign a name to each cell of a sheet. The name is different for each cell. For example, a string composed of: - the string in the cell in the first row of the same column - followed by un underscore, dot or whatever - followed by the the string in the cell in the first column of the same row. And I don't want to do this manually for each and every cell in the sheet (because 256*64k cells are "quite" a lot). Is this possible using a lookup-formula for the name? TIA, Sincerely, Wolfgang Keller -- My email-address is correct. Do NOT remove ".nospam" to reply. _______________________________________________ gnumeric-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnumeric-list
