Here is a suggestion from another Gnumeric user (I don't use windows at
home where I am able to spend time on Gnumeric).

Morten - give Pedro a procedure he can follow for updating his gnumeric
install using an older installer with binaries from your builds.

Pedro - get yourself 7z ( http://www.7-zip.org/ ) or similar so you can
open tar.* archives, and see how you can utilize the builds that the
devs can provide at this point.
