As CentOS is debranded/rebuilt Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and gnumeric
is not included in RHEL, that isn't surprising.

Gnumeric RPMs are available as part of Fedora (RHEL's upstream) as well as
from EPEL (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux -
http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/docs/DOC-3359).
