In that case, let me put in my vote for an SQLite version...
And for those that don't want it, v.2.9.8/2.9.9 isn't going to suddenly
disappear of the face of the Net (and besides, if it REALLY bothered
them, they could fork it)

Perhaps rename the 3.0 pre-release to 2.9.9 and make a 3.0 codebase
from scratch using SQLite + HTML::Template, etc?
