symptoms are (with user = nobody)

in .conf hostname = worldwidewebpointingtothisserver
if i change user = root
then 1) works fine
but 2) does not (damn! this was working earlier! But changing chown and
chmod seems to have made it worse!)
How are you starting the server? Run it in a terminal with the -debug
switch, and send the output.
