--Rubbish.  If you developers *really* "felt our pain" you'd DO something about 
it.

--If you want people to have continued interest in this project, WEEKLY 
PROGRESS REPORTS should be the LEAST thing you should start doing.

--Lots of us don't have time for mailing-lists.  We come here to the forums 
when we get a spare moment, check for new posts, and catch up a bit.

--If the PROGRESS is "on the harddrives of the individuals" -- WHAT GOOD DOES 
THAT DO US???

--Learn from the Linux/Open-Source community: Release Early, Release Often.  If 
it stays on your blasted HD's, we can't do a thing with it.

--No offense meant, really -- but come ON, guys!!
