Hello Kuldip,

I have packages the SUNWspro binaries in .deb format for the Nexenta
OS already. Since we can not redistribute it I am wondering if sun would
be willing to host a Nexenta compatible repository so that Sun is still
distributing the software but Nexenta can still take full advantage of
using apt. apt has the capability of using authentication over
http/https so in theory users can use their sun account to access the
repository.

I am happy to provide a tar of basic repository that demonstrates
the functionality if Sun is willing to provide an authenticated space
for these packages. I feel that this is mutually beneficial to Sun and
Nexenta users since this will bring the value added Sun software
directly to the fingertips of Nexenta users in a consistent and familiar
way.

Thanks,
-Tim
