The same here. Allocating more RAM for vmware doesn't help either, but I found a (maybe) helpful posting in the OpenSolaris forum: (see about in the middle of the page, posted by hannken, Jan 10, 2006 2:58 AM) > > > When it reboots.... > > > > I get: > > > > WARNING: init(1M) exited on fatal signal 9: restarting automatically > > > > over and over > > > > Looks like the well known assembler problem: > > libc gets flagged as needing SSE and your machine doesn't support SSE. > So the problem could be caused by my processor. I know, my processor is quite old, but it's still fast enough for everything I need it for. So, is having a SSE capable processor a new requirement for OpenSolaris?
