This is a good suggestion and I've been toying with similar ideas in the back of my mind.
If you are willing to do some research on finding (and/or compiling) a bit torrent seeder for Nexenta that can seed many files efficiently then I would be willing to host a tracker and a seeder for this purpose. The reason I say multiple files efficiently is because there are two interesting packages I would like to eventually support: apt-transport-debtorrent/debtorrent. Running a seed for the Nexenta repository would enable mirrors to be automatically used instead of users having to manually specify that mirror. To do this, some details would need to be worked out/implemented but it could be very slick :) -Tim mahasamoot wrote: > I can't download Nexenta. I have a slow crappy connection. This is done with ubuntu/kubuntu and works great. > _______________________________________________ gnusol-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/gnusol-users
