Hi, all,

I have googled this error message, but literally nothing is found.

I am trying to install NexentaCP 1.0RC5 to a Dell Precision 650
Workstation. I selected auto-partition option, but I encountered the
following error:

"Cannot auto-partition /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0p0 disk with error:
Mode sense page(3) reports nsect value as 936, adjusting it to 747"

The installation can proceed if I clicked OK to dismiss this message.
But after the installation and reboot the machine, the OS cannot be
loaded due to "Bad PBR sig".

If I looked at the log, I can see this line after "*GRUB installed on"

fdisk: Cannot stat device /dev/rdsk/p0

What could be the problem and potential remedy? Any suggestion is welcome.

Cheers, Anthony

Don't EVER make the mistake that you can design something better than
what you get from ruthless massively parallel trial-and-error with a
