Just tried it out. Same error messages. I do not know if these are relevant:
1) Both hard disk are Ultra 320 2) the DVD rom is on IDE and ... 3) the jumper has set it to be a slave (Long story short: I did not set it to master after removing another IDE DVD-ROM... But it can boot up the installation CD alright, obviously) 4) I used GParted to partition the drive prior to trying out nexenta. I created a single partition of type Solaris2 using this tool. Well, I will probably give it another go later this week. I will a) set IDE DVD-rom to master and b) try remove this partition using GParted Cheers, Anthony On Wed, Mar 26, 2008 at 2:11 AM, Erast Benson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Anthony, > > could you please try our latest 1.0.1-test2 ? > > http://www.nexenta.org/releases > > > > On Tue, 2008-03-25 at 21:38 +1100, Anthony Kong wrote: > > Hi, all, > > > > I have googled this error message, but literally nothing is found. > > > > I am trying to install NexentaCP 1.0RC5 to a Dell Precision 650 > > Workstation. That's giving your intelligence _much_ too much credit. - Linus Torvalds _______________________________________________ gnusol-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/gnusol-users
