I had the same issue, initially. I was able to get it going by (I forget) either selecting the first installer item very quickly after it showed up, or waiting. I think it was the former, but timing definitely was a factor.

Hi -- Subject pretty much says it all. I'm trying to install Nexenta Core Platform 1.0.1 from a bootable CD on a dual-core AMD system. I get the Grub startup screen and the keyboard works OK. When the Nexenta installer boots, it displays the "Welcome" screen. At this point, the keyboard doesn't appear to be recognized. Return, space, F1, F2, Esc, Ctrl-A, etc., do nothing. The keyboard/mouse/display are connected to the system through a KVM, if that makes any difference. -- Michael Eager [EMAIL PROTECTED] 1960 Park Blvd., Palo Alto, CA 94306 650-325-8077 _______________________________________________ gnusol-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/gnusol-users
