Looks like gentoo zones may not be supported, I've never tried setting
one up before but CentOS should be fine.  /etc/sysconfig/network is a
Redhat thing so it may be assuming that you're using a redhat based
zone.

My suggestion would be to do some googling on branded zones or set up
a xen/virtual box/vmware instance.
