That's good to hear! I am a retired IT dev, and spent most of my

I'll just be patient.

GNUstep has a small but loyal userbase!
As for resources, many books one can borrow on the Internet Archive
(from OPENSTEP
all the way to Cocoa) as well as this great video resource:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOYNV2EifmBprMdSESVEu9g/videos
...has come in quite handy. Many things (but not all, like the obvious
Core/QuickTime APIs)
still apply and it really helps get the right idea about programming
in this environment.
Some of us hang out on IRC/Matrix (they are bridged so it's just a
matter of preference)
Matrix:
https://matrix.to/#/#gnustep:libera.chat
IRC:
Server: irc.libera.chat
Channel: #gnustep
Which brings me to the suggestion to maybe bring the Matrix room up a
bit more.
As somebody who runs a couple popular projects outside of GNUstep,
people seem
to be clicking with Matrix a lot more these days. And considering it's
bridged with IRC
it probably wouldn't hurt to recommend it.
