The Milagres Chapel as it is commonly known in Vanxem at Loutolim village (about 10 Kms from Margao) in Salcete, covers a population that is peppered with Araujos, Mascarenhas’ and Monteiros.
This includes my mother’s Araujo ancestral house. Someone has sent me a 26 page booklet of 1947, to celebrate the years of the Chapel from 1677 to 1947. Here is the opening page.
